Hetalia- UsUk - Drunken Haze Part 1
"Hey,
dude!" Alfred said running up to Arthur. Arthur sighed, he wasn't in the
mood to be bugged.
"Hello," Arthur said when Alfred reached up to him.
"Horror movie, tonight, my place." Alfred said.
Arthur sighed, he had nothing better to do. "Except go drinking by myself again and get smashed." Arthur said quietly to himself
"Ok, let's go!" Alfred said.
"Wait what?" Arthur asked, a little confused.
"Drinking, let's go drinking," Alfred said, looking pumped.
"What?! You'd go drinking with me even if I got unnaturally drunk? My faeries know how drunk I can get." Arthur asked, surprised the young nation really wanted to.
"Yeah, dude! I don't want you to get drunk and sleep on the sidewalk! Besides maybe I might see your faeries." Alfred said. He winked and Arthur almost gagged, although he felt happy at the comment.
Arthur sighed and looked at the ground, "This is probably why I only go drinking with Francis." He muttered.
Alfred laughed. "Come on, man! I was kidding! Besides, Francis would take advantage of you when you're drunk." He said.
Arthur laughed a bit, what was he doing?
"Like he hasn't before. Fine, fine, we'll go drinking." Arthur gave in.
"YES!" Alfred said, fist pumping into the air. Arthur sighed and rolled his eyes.
"So-uh. You can pick the bar. I don't know any good ones in your country." Alfred said.
Arthur nodded and a bar instantly came to his mind. "We'll go to my favorite place! The Embassary Bar! Come on!" Arthur said, grabbing Alfred and dragging him to the pub.
Alfred stumbled. Wow he's very excited. Alfred thought and laughed, following Arthur into the bar. It was almost empty. A few lights were on at the bar and the bartender greeted them with a hearty hello.
They both sat down and Arthur smiled at Alfred. "Let's have a good time." He said. Alfred nodded.
"What'll it be, Arthur?" The bartender asked.
"The usual." He said. The bartender came back with two beers. and Arthur started to guzzle his down. Alfred took little sips, not wanting to get drunk.
When Arthur finishes his first he orders another. "So -hic- How's you're country, Alfred?" He asked. Alfred took a sip. What should he say? Confess that he was having major money problems? Nah, better to lie.
"Good, I guess. How 'bout you?" He asked.
"Eh, money comes and goes here and there, I could be broke," He finished his second drink and asks for a third. His words start to slur. "But I'm not." He said with a smile.
Alfred chuckled. "Lucky you." He said. Alfred looked at Arthur who had a wide grin on his face. The last time he'd seen Arthur drunk was when he was questioning whether he was Catholic or Protestant.
"By the way...I think you should slow down." Alfred says as he takes note that Arthur just received his 4th glass.
He laughs a little. "Eh, why?" He gulps down the 4th drink like it was nothing. "I'm hazing -hic- so much fuuunn!" he said, majorly slurring his words. He rested his chin on his hand. Alfred sighed. The last time Arthur put his chin on his hand was to try and flirt with Bella, (which didn't work).
Alfred laughed a little. "Me, too. But you're starting to get that look in your eyes." Alfred said.
Arthur looked confused. "What look?" He smiled "I don't know what you're talking about."
Alfred took another swig of his beer. He looked into the half empty glass.
"That look you get when you're drunk." Alfred sighed.
"I DON'T HAVE THAT LOOK WHEN I'M DRUNK! IT'S JUST ME!" Arthur yelled.
Alfred wasn't really sure what that meant. So he just laughed and said "Sure you don't."
He glanced at Arthur again, his chin was still on his hand.
"By the way, why is your chin on your hand? I've only seen you do that when you were trying (and failing) to flirt with Bella." Alfred said laughing.
Arthur gave him a blank look. "...I'm not flirting..." He said.
"I know! But I've only seen you do that when trying to flirt withBelgium ." Alfred said.
"Eh..." Arthur started. He decided not to finish that statement. He sat up and wrapped his hands around his drink and looks away from Alfred. Instead he focuses on the whiskey inside his glass. Alfred looked at Arthur.
"What?" He asked.
"It's nothing, maybe I've been drinking too much." Arthur said. He finished off his 5th drink and moved on to his 6th. Alfred placed a hand on Arthur's, so he would stop drinking.
"Then, maybe you should stop. And maybe you should tell me, because I know it's not nothing." Alfred said.
Arthur looked at Alfred's hand. "Yah. Guezz zo." He sighed and started muttering about his faeries.
"Here, I'll help you get home." Alfred said. He left a tip for the bartender and helped Arthur down.
"Eh..fine." Arthur said and stumbled down, despite Alfred's help. Alfred helped him out to the car. "Sit in the passenger's seat." Alfred said.
He grumbled a whatever and buckled himself up (surprisingly). Alfred climbed into the driver's seat. "Wait, didn't you drink to? Why are you driving?" Arthur asked.
"If you hadn't noticed, I only had one. And like Francis, I have a high tolerance." Alfred said.
"Oh." Arthur replied
Alfred drove away from the curb and turned the radio on. He changed it to a song that he thought Arthur would like. "Teenage Wasteland" by The Who.
"Is this good?" Alfred asked.
Arthur nodded and looked out the window. Alfred was a bit concerned. He sent a side-ways glance at the Englishman.
Arthur caught his glance. "Hmm? What is it?" He asked and rubbed Alfred's head. Alfred started to blush and laughed a little. "Ehh- Nothing." He said smiling.
"I know there's something going on underneath that tan hair of yours, Alfred." He said messing up his hair and smiling. Alfred majorly blushed and smiled. For some reason that sentence warmed his heart.
"Arthur please, I'm trying to focus." he said. "Okay, okay." Arthur said, smiling and laughing.
The rest of the car ride was quiet, except for Arthur's drunk singing, which Alfred thought was cute, but he didn't mention that.
Alfred pulled up to Arthur's house and helped him out of the car.
"H-hey, thanks for getting a drink with me." Arthur said. He hugged Alfred tightly. At first Alfred was shocked, then he gave into the hug.
"Hello," Arthur said when Alfred reached up to him.
